Maybe this devotional
is an offering at your church
this Lenten season for personal reading.
This particular one features the drawings
of artist- Sally Beck.
Below are some of Sally's vivid images
that she shares for
your Lenten reflection time.
Sally Beck
Sally had a lovely job as
an illustrator and art editor for
Creative Communications for the Parish
in St. Louis.
In fact, it was perhaps the
best job in the world,
one in which she could happily
use her art to express her faith.
For her, seeing and putting something down
on paper helps her figure out the world,
(something that people presently doing
Bible journaling may also experience).
She and her family have lived on both coasts,
in the middle and now in Williamsburg, VA.
She and her husband, Gordon,
have three children
and three delightful grandchildren.
From time to time we will be sharing
on this blog the work of artist Sally Beck.
Hi Sally, I friend of mine was given a devotion book titled "And Give You Peace, Words of Comfort at a Time of Grief" by Arden, Peter and David Mead and I am interested in finding additional copies. The book doesn't give any information about a publisher, and I am unable to find a website or link for these authors. It only shows copyright 2003 by the authors, and art by Sally Beck. I hope you are this artist! And if so, would you have any information about where I could order additional copies? Thank you so much for your time. Patti Hovdenes, patti@rejoiceomaha.org
ReplyDeletePatti, I will send your comment on to Sally and see if we can get any more information
