The 180 quilts that were on display at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Springfield, Virginia were put together for Lutheran World Relief (LWR) by the Holy Comforters. They will be taken up to the New Windsor, MD collection point. They will be baled and stacked until a notification is received from LWR that there is a need in disasters areas of the world. The 31 baby quilts will be given to ASSIST Pregnancy Center and ECHO in Springfield, Virginia who will include them in layettes. We are so blessed, They receive donations of supplies from so many kind people through the year. A great big "Thank You" to all. We will resume our quilt making in January 2020.
