As we gathered on a beautiful Saturday morning
At Advent Lutheran in Chapel Hill, NC
To begin with worship.
Thank you to Rev. John Benham
and the worship team!
As we explored the word - Eucharisteo
Joy Thanksgiving Grace
With a wonderful soups
and salads luncheon
A beautiful Fall Gatherings
Then presented with a lovely gift package
including an Ann Voskamp gift book of
One Thousand Gifts
Then time to make our own journal
Preparing to GIVE THANKS
Working the plan
A few laughs here and there
Careful concentration
Thinking about being intentional
Always good to hang out with friends
And choosing the details
With multiple generations
And hearing about friend connections
And making a new friend
A hearing a God-blessed
testimony of His faithfulness
With some stamps to add a Bible verse or two
Dedicated time to CREATE
because we are made in the image of our
CREATOR GOD
Time to Count blessings
and see God's faithfulness
To be reminded when we forget-
of who HE is
A Soul Care Day
Because it is ALWAYS
about our response to His CALL
The Lord initiates.
And ALL IS GRACE.
This one day women's retreat
was led by Connie Denninger.
