Open Studio- Prayers for my Children

So we gathered this week- 

with the intention of creating a certain project-

a Prayers for My Children Flip Chart.

One Bible verse a day to pray

 over your children-

(and grandchildren or godchildren).

At the end of the month- start over-

Keep praying -

Keep on praying,

Day after day, 

month after month, 

year after year.

 We were focused, but laughed a lot too.

We shared life stories, 

and ate supper out on the deck-

 when the rain stopped for a bit.

We collaged,  added washi tape,

glued and painted.

We piled up doodads and stuff in take-home bags 

to add to the project at home when we finished.

One young artist spent the whole evening

 working on this beautiful collage

 using vintage papers from IDEALS magazines.

 Her own style for a visual prayer reminder.

Visual Faith

is also about gathering people,

right in your own home, 

and just seeing the connections the 

Holy Spirit makes-

and it is awesome.
