The 2013 stack of books read
Do you have a stack of books that you are just waiting to get to in this new year?
Maybe they sit by the bed or a chair or you cart a library around on your Kindle.
As you look around for your reading list-
may I suggest that you add some faith- tending books to the list?
I have been keeping a list of books read for quite some time now.
(Often to help me remember if I had read them or not).
But, that is another story.
My mom died in 2004, and she was a deep reader of theology-
( and I am not anywhere near that).
( and I am not anywhere near that).
But, I was interested in what her journey of reading had been.
We had some of the books, but she usually checked them out of the library,
so her path was pretty unknown to her children.
I decided that one of the gifts I could give my children-
was at least a history of the path that I had taken.
Where God had led me.
One book at a time.
His book - the Bible.
Other books- in response to His gift to us.
Then it became helpful to also chart them visually.
So Pinterest became my library of recording the journey.
At least it is a start and much better than nothing.

Also a post can be seen here about 2012 -
