On February 10, 2019, Mark Boriack
was ordained and then installed
as an assistant pastor at
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church
in Springfield, Virginia.
Rev. Mark is a Specific Ministry Pastor
receiving training from Concordia Seminary, St Louis.
The Specific Ministry Pastor (SMP) Program
is a four-year state of the art,
distance education program that prepares men
for specific pastoral ministries in
The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS).
Rev. Mark’s specific ministry
is the prayer ministry.
He will also serve general pastoral duties
including teaching and preaching.
Rev. Mark and his wife, Nancy,
have been long time members
and leaders serving at Prince of Peace.
Rev. Mark was installed by Rev. Dr. Brent Smith
of Mission Central, Nebraska.

The Lord often blesses relationship
and partnerships in ministry.
Nancy's extended family attended the service
including her parents,
sister and husband and their daughter.
They were also blessed with the attendance of their daughter, Anna, son Paul and wife, Kate,
and the four grand loves.
